Swarmed is a beekeeper-led honeybee biomonitoring network that connects more than 10,000 beekeepers to communities in North America, Australia and Europe. We have protected 150 million bees, pollinated 3 trillion flowers and collected more than 4 million data points on bee behavior and ecological conditions. Now that data is being used to develop tools for beekeepers dealing with bee colony loss, and to use honey bees as sensitive biomonitors for air quality, pesticide exposure and ecosystem health.
