Ready to Impact

Are you a student or a young entrepreneur in The Hague and the surrounding area? Do you have an idea for making a positive social or environmental impact? The next question is trickier: Is your solution actually the one that will help? And if it works, who else will it affect?

During Ready to Impact, you’ll have six Mondays to figure this out.

The underlying question

Most programs for people like you focus on one thing: does it make money? We think that’s important too, but we’re just as interested in whether it really makes a difference to the world around you. Not just as a catchy line for your pitch deck, but as something you actually weave into your way of thinking (a habit, not a slogan).

What do you gain?

This is Ready to Impact

Ready to Impact is a 6-week program for students and young professionals who want to make a positive social or environmental impact. If you’ve already chosen a problem you want to solve, understand it well, and are ready to validate your solution, keep reading!

Through guided learning, peer interaction, and practical project development, participants turn their initial ideas into concrete project proposals and realistic action plans. Ready to Impact is een initiatief van PLNT en The Hague Humanity Hub.

October 18, 2026

Six Mondays, October 26 through November 30, 2026, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

  • Every week, you apply what you’ve learned to real people, and you take what you’ve learned from them with you to the next session. If you skip a session, there’s nothing to work on.

  • Plan on spending 3 to 5 hours a week working on your project between sessions.

Yes, although it doesn’t have to be big or complete! During Ready to Impact, you’ll work on validating your idea.

Yes, participation in the program is completely free. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.

Throughout the program, there are mandatory three-hour sessions once a week. In addition, you can work on your idea in between sessions during our Get Things Done Days.

The entire program is offered in English because the content and examples are internationally oriented.

This program is for you if:

  • You have an idea for a business that has a social or environmental impact.
  • You’ve already started doing the groundwork: perhaps you’ve spoken with people who’ve dealt with this, noticed that the same pattern kept recurring, or kept running into it yourself. Either way, you know the problem is real.
  • You are a student or young entrepreneur in or around The Hague, working on your own or as part of a team.
  • You can set aside time between sessions. That’s when most of the work gets done.

This program isn’t for you yet if you’re still figuring out what problem you’re passionate about, or if you’ve already tested your solution and are looking for your first customer or your first round of funding.
