The Field
The Field Leiden is Leiden’s circular event venue and is part of PLNT. Located next to Leiden Central, you will find a circular pavilion, three tiny offices and a lovely garden. It is the perfect place for a meeting, drinks or a brainstorm session. All buildings at the park are circular. In other words: spaces that are constructed from reclaimed materials.
Circular living lab
The Field is part of ‘De Duurzaamste Kilometer van Nederland’. This is a community consisting of businesses, community organizations, education, county, water board & municipality and residents. Together we have one goal: a sustainable future! We want to engage as pioneers to profit sustainability and collaboration.
On site, businesses can rent one of the venues to host an event, drinks or meeting. As a company, it is also possible to test your innovation. If interested, contact Project Manager Aniek Langendijk.
Re-used materials
The Field is constructed from reclaimed materials derived from, among other things, the ‘Duurzaamste Kilometer’ of Leiden and its surroundings. For example, the lights in the Pavilion are old street lamps, and the floor in the Locker Room is from an old gym. Curious about all the materials used per location, along with their origin?
