Leiden meets Circulair is an interactive network meeting where you can learn more about circular business, learn from the experience and expertise of others or just share your knowledge and experience.
The annual event brings together the circular network in the Leiden region. This includes active frontrunners and interested parties who want to learn more about circular economy, have a circular initiative and could use help with it, or want to gain new connections within the network of circular entrepreneurs.
To strengthen this growing network and stimulate new collaborations, the City of Leiden and PLNT are organizing this year’s fifth edition of Leiden meets Circulair on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

This edition also brought together enthusiastic entrepreneurs who wanted to gain knowledge, share it, pitch their idea or expand their network. The aftermovie shows that they went home full of inspiration, with new ideas and contacts. Ready to take (even more) concrete steps.

Welcome with coffee, tea and circular cookies.
14:00 | Plenary Opening & Pitch Auction
We jointly launch the dynamic Pitch Auction. You will have the opportunity to present your circular challenge or offer to an engaged network and make valuable connections immediately.
15:00 | Two rounds of breakout sessions
Interactive sessions around current circular themes, guided by experts from the field. Practical, in-depth and focused on collaboration and concrete steps.
Breakout topics will be announced later on this page. On the day, you choose which session you want to attend.
17:15 | Networking drinks
We will conclude with informal drinks. Weather permitting, we will meet on the roof terrace of PLNT, of course with circular refreshments.
