Ready to Engage

Turn your concern about the climate into action.

Are you between 15 and 30 years old and ready to take the leap from awareness to making a real difference?

Ready to Engage is a two-month youth program in The Hague that helps young people turn their concerns about climate change into practical initiatives for a more just and sustainable future.

Through workshops, coaching, and collaboration with experts and peers, you’ll turn your ideas into a concrete action plan—and take your first steps as a climate change advocate.

The registration deadline is April 19!

What do you gain?

What will you do?

The program consists of three practical phases:

You’ll explore climate change as an issue of global justice and discover what motivates you.

You’ll develop your ideas into concrete plans with the help of workshops, mentors, and other participants.

You turn your plan into a feasible course of action and take the first steps toward implementation.

This is Ready to Engage

Ready to Engage helps young people deepen their understanding of climate justice while developing their own ideas for change.

Through guided learning, peer interaction, and practical project development, participants turn their initial ideas into concrete project proposals and realistic action plans.

Ready to Engage: Pathways to Climate Justice is an initiative of The Hague Humanity Hub and is funded by the European Union.
The program brings together young participants, practitioners, and experts from the climate, peace, and justice sectors to bridge the gap between learning and practice.

The program takes place at The Hague Humanity Hub, where participants come into direct contact with the city’s peace and justice network.
They meet organizations, innovators, and changemakers working on global challenges, gaining visibility, inspiration, and connections that help them find their place within a growing community dedicated to climate justice.
