Among 40 Dutch city regions, it now proudly claims 3rd place, just ahead of Brainport Eindhoven, a remarkable milestone!
Leiden now ranks among the top 3 regions with the strongest entrepreneurial climate in the Netherlands, alongside Delft & Westland (1) and Groot – Amsterdam (2).
With a total score of 13.40, Leiden’s ecosystem significantly outperforms the national average of 10.
This highlights how robust and supportive the region is for startups and entrepreneurial activity.
