In 2018, they received an investment of 1.5 million euros, which was celebrated with champagne on the building\u2019s rooftop, back when there was no rooftop terrace yet. <\/p><p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"496\">After that, the startup made rapid progress and even built its own factory in Eindhoven in March 2024: PlantOne.<\/p><p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"496\">LeydenJar remains closely connected to PLNT. LeydenJar takes a different approach: they use a silicon anode instead of graphite. Silicon can store up to twice as much energy, increasing battery capacity by as much as 50%.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0f04286 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0f04286\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h6 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Future<\/h6>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-17c423d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"17c423d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>LeydenJar has now entered into a partnership with Chinese battery manufacturer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpowertech.com\">Highpower<\/a>. Together, they are working on the mass production of their high-performance battery.
