Learning new skills is important, but also a lot of fun! At SKILLS workshops, you will learn super handy basic skills that you can put to good use in both your daily and professional life. You will develop new skills and a growth mindset in an inspiring environment. And, because our partners believe in fostering knowledge, the workshops are completely free for everyone.
So what can you expect?
Useful skills
Each workshop focuses on learning and applying these skills. During the sessions you will do interactive exercises, including with the other participants. This way you not only learn new skills, but you can also inspire each other.
Fun events
It is recommended that you stick around after the workshop to get to know the other participants a little better during the PLNT drinks. You might even make a new friend or find a co-founder!
Feedback & support
During the sessions, a trainer is present to explain the essence of the skill you want to learn.
Networking
You have access to the entire network of PLNT. Know that we have connections in almost every layer and sector that you can connect with. In addition, PLNT Students board members are present during the sessions. This is the student association for entrepreneurial students in Leiden. During the session you can get to know them and they will tell you more about the association.
Accountability, action & progress
Skills only grow if you make time for them. So if you sign up, you are also required to attend the session. After the training you will have a new skill and know how to apply it yourself. Pretty worth it, right?

Nope, our partners pay for your participation. This comes to about €50 per person. So check carefully if you really can attend.

This depends on the type of workshop. On average, workshops last about two hours.
We encourage you to be well on time and also keep an extra hour free afterwards, so that you have time to get to know PLNT and enjoy a drink. Student Association PLNT Students will be on hand to welcome you.
No, that’s not necessary. Anyone can participate, even if you know nothing about the subject yet.
