Copernicus Hackathon

In the weekend of 29 and 30 September SBIC Noordwijk and PLNT organize the Copernicus Hackathon in Leiden, the Netherlands.

The Copernicus Hackathon Program will bring together developers, entrepreneurs and topic-specific experts to develop new applications based on Copernicus Earth observation (EO) data and services.

Discover the potential of Earth Observation Data
Join forces with other enthusiastic with passion for space and innovation to  develop new business ideas at the Copernicus Hackathon!
The theme will be three of the oldest elements: Earth, Water and Air. You will get access to Copernicus data, support from mentors and the option to follow several business and technical workshops

The winning team will win:

  • A seat in the Copernicus Accelerator
  • A seat in the PLNT Venture Academy 
  • €500 cash
  • Six months start-up tax management (valued at €600) by Zuits

Where: PLNT Leiden, Langegracht 70, Leiden 
When: 29 september 10:00 to 30 september 18:00
Who: Everyone above 18 and resident of one the following countries (EU Member States + Norway and Iceland).
Cost: Participation is free.
