Using creativity to deal with difficult thoughts

April 25, 2024 from 15.00 – 17.00

In this workshop you will learn how you can use creativity and humor to deal with difficult thoughts. It is a practical and playful workshop in which you yourself will get into action. Let’s get to work! With experiments, clear questions, humor and some guts. Curious? I’ll see you there!

“I can’t do this. I’m worthless. My idea sucks. If only I had picked another study or job. Someone else would be able to handle this much better.’ Do you ever have these kinds of thoughts? Congratulations, that means you’re human! On average we think about 50.000 thoughts. Every. Day. (That many? Yes, that many!).

If your mind looks a bit like mine, surely you have noticed that not every thought is equally useful, friendly and helpful. Yet these thoughts often have a major impact on our actions and decisions. Whether your original idea disappears into the trash, you’re not able to pay your full attention to the conversation with your friend because you worry about that awkward comment, or you skip that networking event because you’re afraid you’ll end up practicing your best wallflower-skills. And that’s a waste!
