The Field is part of PLNT Leiden on Langegracht. PLNT is the vibrant heart of innovation and entrepreneurship in Leiden, where ideas come to life, start-ups flourish and knowledge is shared. At The Field, we specifically focus on sustainability, circularity and climate, creating solutions for the future together with a passionate community.
What will you do?
You:
- Welcome our guests with a smile and makes them feel right at home.
- Keep the Circular Pavilion, tiny offices and park neat, presentable and well maintained.
- Provide coffee, tea and bringing lunches on time so that our guests lack nothing.
- Support mail contact with customers who wish to make a booking or have questions about our facilities.
- Like to roll up your sleeves: you have green fingers and help with garden maintenance and small jobs.
- Don’t not shy away from our three fluffy chickens and makes sure they too are happy.
- Enjoy making visible what is happening at The Field via Instagram. You will make an occasional post or story to inspire and inform our community.
- Help set up their own events, thinks along and shows initiative to further develop The Field and make it even better.
(minimum 18 hours – maximum 36 hours)
What will you bring to the table?
You:
- Independence and responsibility: you see work lying around and tackle it immediately.
- Flexibility: you are available for varying working hours, sometimes including evenings or weekends.
- Handiness: you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and know how to solve small jobs.
- Hospitality: you enjoy facilitating people and making events run smoothly.
- Communication skills: you keep track of email contact and respond professionally to booking requests.
- A passion for sustainability: you feel at home in a place where circularity and greenery are key.
